I created and facilitated an interactive and hands on one day visual merchandising workshop for Homer, a lifestyle brand with stores based in Edinburgh and Aberfeldy.
The objective was to give the team a practical understanding of key visual merchandising principles and how to implement them along with strategies on how to plan each store. It was important to create an interesting, exciting and easy to understand shopping experience for Homer customers, also ensuring that they got to see and experience the whole range when visiting a store.
We discussed retail best practise and looked at trends in store design, visual merchandising, and customer experience before translating relevant ideas to the Homer brand.
By the end of the session the team had created an action plan of short and longer term ideas that would be tested and implemented in both stores.
